Valentine’s Day Gift Basket Ideas for Girls

We’re getting close to Valentine’s Day mamas!! One of the special traditions I have with my children is getting them a small Valentine’s Day gift basket. It doesn’t have to be anything extravagant or Christmas like. Just something to make them feel special.

One of the hardest parts about holidays is finding small gift items to put inside our kids baskets. It always seems like they already have everything! That’s exactly why I’ve done some research on some items to go inside gift baskets! Here are Valentine’s Day gift basket ideas for girls. (If you have a little boy, check out my Valentine’s Day gift basket ideas for boys blog post here).

Gift basket– This gift basket is such a cute, girly basket! The best part is the fact it is reusable. You can reuse it next year or put it in your daughter’s closet to store bows/accessories in!

Karaoke Microphone– We have this exact microphone and my children LOVE it! It is not expensive at all. We haven’t even hooked it up to bluetooth on our phones yet because the kids just love singing in it on their own. It is loud and noisy, but the joy my children get from playing with it makes it all worth it!

Writing Tablet– A writing tablet is a must have! Especially for long car rides. We limit screen time for our children, so this is a great option for them to entertain themselves.

Dot Art Book– This is one of our children’s favorite things to do! It gives us good variety in our “craft” time activities. Sometimes coloring with crayon and paper just isn’t what they want to do. This can also help with hand eye coordination as you have to get the dot marker inside the dot.

Dot Art Markers– If you get a dot art book, you’ll definitely want the markers. These are a little pricier than most gifts I’d put in a Valentine’s day basket, but really this is a BIG hit among our kids and their friends.

Valentine’s Day Theme Coloring Book– I love this because it is toddler specific. A lot of coloring books have so much detail that a toddler could never practice coloring in the lines.

Crayons– If you are going to get a new coloring book, a new set of crayons seems like a great way to go as well. The good thing about this set is it comes with a crayon sharpener!

Bubble Romper– A Valentine’s Day themed bubble romper is a great gift! A cute little way for children to be festive.

Socks– Valentine’s Day theme socks with the anti-slip grip!! Honestly I don’t know why people make baby and toddler socks without the anti-slip grips on them!

Stuffed Animal– a stuffed animal is always a great choice for a Valentine’s Day basket!

Books– My children get books for every holiday they get a gift for. I love to foster their love of reading from the very beginning. Here are a couple of Valentine’s themed books: Franklin’s Valentines and There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Rose.

Valentine’s Day Pajamas– I’m a sucker for holiday pajamas for my kids. They just look so cute all dressed in their holiday pjs. It is even better if they have a matching set for me!

This is not an exhaustive list or a list you have to complete yourself to make Valentine’s Day special for your kids. They will love whatever you give them because it is coming from you!!

  2. My daughter (who is 12) would still appreciate getting many of these gift ideas on here. Her favorite things are stuffed animals and anything art-related.

    1. Yes! The stuffed animal one is a big favorite for my children. It’s funny because we have so many of them! But every time they get a new one it is just as special to them.
